The cost of our printers vary depending on the imprinting method, output capacity, tablet/capsule size, and other factors. Please give us a call to get a specific quote.

Ink transfer involves rolling liquid ink onto the tablet or capsule to imprint the mark or logo. Ink transfer is typically used on tablets and hard capsules. Laser etching uses a laser to engrave the mark or logo. Laser etching is typically used on softgel capsules.

In the pharmaceutical industry, laser drilling is used to penetrate the outer coating of a tablet with a laser beam to create a hole drilled in the tablet’s surface. These holes allow for osmotic drug delivery — i.e. rapid release pills and tablets.

Our ink printers use an edible ink manufactured by a third party supplier. We can provide recommendations for ink suppliers.
